697. Sicario: Day of The Soldado (2018)

*The Warlock is already in The Grand Wizard’s Palace sitting in the recliner*

W: Welcome to my father’s palace for another edition of Warlock’s Movie Realm. The countdown to episode 700 is on and in fourth place we are taking a look at the sequel to the movie we just watched. That’s right, tonight’s movie is the 2018 action drama SICARIO: DAY OF THE SOLDADO.

*The Grand Wizard is on his throne*

Wi: I haven’t seen this one.

W: Neither have I. Apparently this time Josh Brolin and Benicio Del Toro leave Emily Blunt behind as now we’re dealing with domestic terrorists as well as cartels. We still got Jeffrey Donovan as support but now the boys are taking orders from Catherine Keener of 40 Year Old Virgin fame.

Wi: What?

W: I’ll explain later. Bottom line is we got Del Toro, Brolin and Donovan back and let’s see how they do with a different mission this time. So grab your popcorn, grab your drink and grab your woman because its time for SICARIO: DAY OF THE SOLDADO.

*Wizard reads the tag-line*

Wi: “The drug war on the U.S.-Mexico border has escalated as the cartels have begun trafficking terrorists across the US border. To fight the war, federal agent Matt Graver re-teams with the mercurial Alejandro.”

Wa: Now we got terrorists involved, great.
