W: Welcome back to Oscar’s Month here at Warlock’s Movie Realm. Tonight we’re going to be taking a look at a movie that Neyzor Blades here actually likes.

N: I’m surprised its even on the Oscar’s list.
W: In case you haven’t guessed, tonight’s movie is the 2008 Indian drama SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE! That’s right, somehow this won Best Picture even though its a damn good movie. First the accolades. The movie won Best Cinematography, Best Original Score, Best Original Song, Best Sound Mixing, Best Adaptation and Best Editing, Danny Boyle won Best Director and the movie was nominated for Best Sound Editing. Now for the competition and its some good ones, SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE defeated The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon, Milk and The Reader. Benjamin Button is damn good too.
N: You saw that on a date, right?
W: Yes I did. So what is Benjam……SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE about? A normal looking young Indian man gets to be on Who Wants To Be A Millionaire and starts getting questions right he should have no business getting. While he’s accused of cheating, he reveals his life was a hell of a lot more interesting than the show producers gave him credit for. I’ve seen this before so I already know its going to be epic and thankfully its only 2 hours long so it’ll be easy to sit through compared to some of the marathons I’ve seen this month already. So grab your popcorn, grab your drink and grab your woman because its time for SLUMDOG MILLIONAIRE.
