619. Dr. Detroit (1983)

*The Warlock opens the door to his lair. He’s wearing a Boston Celtics Jayson Tatum jersey, blue jeans, white sneakers and gargoyle shades. He’s holding a diamond studded goblet of Pepsi*

W: Welcome to my lair….welcome I don’t think so, but enter. Enter my lair if you dare, I’m your host The Warlock.

*Warlock does nothing but just walk inside*

W: Tonight on Warlock’s Movie Realm is a special Fan Request. The same guy who wanted me to watch DC Cab suggested this package that Darnell The Delivery Guy threw at me earlier.

*Neyzor Blades is in the recliner wearing standard attire*

N: Because he has to deliver your thousands of movies daily.

W: Whatever, point being is tonight’s movie requested by someone is the 1983 insane comedy DR. DETROIT!

N: What is that?

W: Apparently a pimp is on the run and chooses a college professor played by Dan Ackroyd as his successor. Hilarity ensues!

N: That does sound funny.

W: I’m hoping it is. DC Cab was an insane comedy so I’m hoping this one will be just as funny. The only way to find out if this is watchable is to watch it. So grab your popcorn, grab your drink and grab your woman because its time for DR. DETROIT.

*Warlock reads the tag-line*

W: “A pimp on the run trusts his sex workers to a meek professor of literature, who accepts the challenge.”

N: Accepts the challenge?
