638. The Blue Lagoon (1980)

*The Warlock is on a skype call with Mr. Wallstreet with a package sitting next to him*

Wall: You honestly thought I was out of a job huh?

W: I guess not, what’s this shit?

Wall: I sent you two movies to cover.

W: I see that, what are they?

Wall: Open up and find out.

W: Why the secrecy?

Wall: To piss you off. Have fun with them.

*Wallstreet ends the call*

W: Great, what disaster did he send me now.

*Warlock opens the package and a single box pops out. He studies it for a while*

W: What….the…..hell……?

*Warlock shakes his head and flicks his wrist to open the DVD player. One of the DVDs inside the box flies into the player and Warlock flicks his wrist again to start the TV. He spins around*

W: Welcome to another impromptu movie here at Warlock’s Movie Realm. Tonight we are covering something I’ve never heard of until just now. Apparently Mr. Wallstreet sent me a two pack and the first movie is a 1980 shipwreck known as THE BLUE LAGOON. Apparently ol Wallstreet must have just found out I did Cast Away two years ago and decided to send me another movie based on survival. What’s this about? Two kids are shipwrecked on an island and years later they start going through puberty. The back of the box says this is a romance tale so I’m praying to god this doesn’t go where I think its going. It stars Brooke Shields and William Daniels so at least there should be good acting. The movie clocks in at an hour and 45 minutes so it shouldn’t be too long if it sucks. Still, it may actually be decent so grab your popcorn, grab your drink and grab your woman because its time for THE BLUE LAGOON.

*Warlock reads the tag-line*

W: “In the Victorian period, two children are shipwrecked on a tropical island in the South Pacific. With no adults to guide them, the two make a simple life together, unaware that sexual maturity will eventually intervene.”

W: They better not be brother and sister.
